Its funny, the first post I made over there was in the Ridergirl thread.. I basically said that they were too chickenshit to make their feelings known when she was around, but are teeing off her now. They accused me of being her, or that she put me up to posting, or that I am a cousin or relative of some type.. its all pretty funny. I posted an avatar of Kate Winslet, and they thought it was a self-portrait! Messing with a few chumps over there is fairly easy, apparently. Of the 4 that are banned, I would say Migs and MFOT are loathed over there-- like I said, I can understand it... doesn't mean that I think they should be permanenlty banned... to a degree they some don't really like you either, Reider... my take on that is while I don't agree with you on some issues, you are basically smart and more reasonable enough to see the another point of view... which is more than I can say for the two that I mentioned above.

It seems that the Riderfan site is full of paranioa and people who seem to have some sort dysfunction... there are quite a few good posters there too, but it seems that the ones who have no life dominate there...

Yeah, I saw your posts over there lol. I'm actually surprised that you were a Zoner before you went over there. Usually people from there come here (RF is older than the Zone). I was a member there before this site was created.

One of the things about any online forum is that there's all sorts of personalities on them. Yeah, there are definitely some people with no life over there, but there are also some funny / knowledgeable CFL fans, which are the ones I like. My main issue with that site is just the philosophical difference in the way things are run compared to here. I actually thought it was getting even better over there at the end of old ownership until the site was sold to the new owner. Now it seems like the new owner has taken that opposing sweep under the rug and ignore philosophy, which I dislike, to the extreme.

It's easy to be an *******. It's easy to just perma ban everyone who breaks a rule or who I don't like. If that were the case, the guys you mentioned, plus 3rd down etc.. would be perma banned from here too. But this isn't about me, it's about the CFL.

I wouldn't worry too much about what they think of you over there. While there are a lot of smart people over there, there's also some unintelligent ones as well and they'll form an opinion before gathering or knowing the facts (e.g. your case is a prime example). You just gotta roll with the punches Jay.

You could always go have a beer at RickyG's before a game and meet some of them. That would probably help remove a lot of the paranoia!

- Apparently Ridergirl (former mod and admin) is not who she pretended to be and is now gone from the site. It sounds like "Ridergirl" was a completely fabricated persona, created out of a web of manipulation and lies. The only thing real about Ridergirl is that she really was a female.
- Apparently she manipulated and lied to many members who are now getting things of their chests
- She manipulated people into lying for her... aka claiming that they saw her in person and that she really was the female in her avatars
- A lot of people on RF.com are venting and saying their peace. Some thought she was more popular than she really was, which is why things didn't come out sooner. Even the current and former owner of the site put in their .02 cents.
- Some people apologized for lying about seeing Ridergirl, except The Coach / Tare who is MIA.
- There are a few long time RF members who came back and have posted in the thread now that Ridergirl is gone.
- There's a lot of other discussion in there, but that's main idea of what's going on in the Ridergirl thread.

But didn't Popular Mechanic PROVE that Ridergirl was the truth????

lol, I just found this. Hilarious, it reminds of a dateline episode I seen where some fat broad got some 40 year old dude to murder his coworker when she pretended to be her 19 year old daughter and pretended to have an affair with the dudes coworker.All of this was trickery was done through online chat rooms. Been there and been asked to leave when I accurately predicted a Rider sweep on LD and BB. Got accused of not being a proper Bomber fan.

Amazing how they kept on the 'sunshine and happy' act despite Kelly.

After all, i was told in that message that they tried to encourage fans with every opinion to feel welcome.... so i told them that was bull**** and they only cared about the people who accepted that every decision the bombers made was pure brilliance that noone could question. Guess they didn't like hearing the truth about that either.

my only regret is that I can't go back and tell them I told you so but I'm not going crawling back begging, there are plenty of places on the inter i can talk football without being banned for saying things people don't want to hear (even if i do have to talk to rider and argo fans)
