Just read on the CIS forum that another combine - run by Duane Forde (and another dude/ex-CIS player who runs football combine training camps (in Florida i think)) will be held on the Friday before the CFL E-Camp weekend - same TO location to make it easy for scouts to attend both; i guess it will be for players who did not make the cut/list (limited room) at the CFL Combine; and, gasp - heard that some CIS QBs will be getting a look to chuck some passes at the drills there (and apparently, if i read right - current top CIS QBs - Faulds, Glavic, Branngan - already ignored in their draft years by the good ole CFL - will be invited to the CFL Combine to do the throwing there? - what up wit dat ??? ).

Kudos to the guys (Duane Forde has been a real breath of fresh air IMO for Canadian ball since he's come on as a CFL TV commentator and as a writer/ opinion source in the print/internet media plus a guy who takes interest in the CFL draft and Canadian football talent) for putting on this additional football scouting combine, and maybe some CFL scouts can discover some talent they didn't know much about before. Great news IMO for Canadian football and maybe the CFL.

Believe me when I say this bodes ill for any CFL team that takes a shot at Shomari early n the draft, with the 1yr opt out clause, the better Shomari does, the more likely he is to leave his CFL team high and dry.

No thanks, I'd prefer Gesse, or Greenwood, because I've watched Rosenhaus operate for yrs, this is no accident.
